Department of Psychology, Southern Medical University

The Department of Psychology at Southern Medical University traces its roots to the Psychology Teaching and Research Section of the First Military Medical University. It was transferred to civilian status with the entire First Military Medical University in 2004, and developed into the Department of Psychology at Southern Medical University in 2005. In 2010, it integrated resources within the university based on the department. The department has a high-level teaching and research team that conducts extensive research in clinical psychology, health psychology, and other fields, and has trained a large number of psychology professionals for the society.
