Established by Bei Shan Tang Foundation in 2014, Positive Education Hong Kong is a platform aiming to co-learn and collaborate with Hong Kong’s educators to 'Learn-Live-Teach-and-Embed' positive-psychology-infused education best practices in schools and to build a flourishing community ecosystem.
Our programmes are designed to equip teachers and the education sector with scientific knowledge and practical wisdom of Positive Education, provide related resources, share contextualized case studies showcasing local schools' best practices, foster connections between schools for professional exchange, and to enable more sustainable development of Positive Education in Hong Kong. Having its roots in the science of Positive Psychology, Positive Education contributes to the well-being of all members of the school community, as well as the overall learning and teaching effectiveness. We believe schools are the most valuable setting to help equip students with skills and knowledge to understand and apply Character Strengths, to enhance one’s Positive Emotion, Engagement, as well as to live a life with Relationship, Meaning, Accomplishment and Health (PERMA+H), by which they can make contributions positively to their families, schools, and communities.
