The Korean Counseling Psychology Association (KCPA) celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2024. As a leading branch of the Korean Psychological Association, KCPA has over 40,000 members working in mental health, schools, corporations, and government agencies. Established in 1978, KCPA is committed to enhancing individual psychological adaptation and growth. The association partners with organizations like Samsung Electronics, Korea Railroad Corporation, and the Ministry of Justice, and engages in public service activities, including disaster response. KCPA supports professional development through academic research, journal publication, and training programs, and aims to cultivate ethical, skilled counseling psychologists.
