Understanding Obsession
In each of our hearts, there are two seeds— one symbolizing love and kindness, the other symbolizing hatred and fear. Every day, we water one of these seeds, and it is the seed we choose to nurture that determines our inner state and outward behavior.
Why do we fall into negative thought patterns?
Our brains are naturally inclined to focus on threats, losses, and negative emotions. This thought mechanism is the result of millions of years of evolution, designed to help our ancestors survive in dangerous environments.
