Welcome to the Korean Counseling Psychology Association, the leader in the field of counseling psychology in South Korea since 1964. Our members include university professors, school counselors, corporate counselors, and other professionals committed to providing counseling services through strict standards. Our goal is to enhance the professional level of counseling psychology through education, research, and public welfare activities, serving society. The Korean Counseling Psychology Association (KCPA) celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2024. As a leading branch of the Korean Psychological Association, KCPA has over 40,000 members working in mental health, schools, corporations, and government agencies. Established in 1978, KCPA is committed to enhancing individual psychological adaptation and growth. The association partners with organizations like Samsung Electronics, Korea Railroad Corporation, and the Ministry of Justice, and engages in public service activities, including disaster response. KCPA supports professional development through academic research, journal publication, and training programs, and aims to cultivate ethical, skilled counseling psychologists.
