NiteCat Online, part of the Hong Kong Children and Youth Services, is an online youth support team dedicated to providing counseling services, digital creativity, and potential development training for teenagers facing immediate crises or high-risk situations. We emphasize community-based internet culture and the belief in the digital generation as the main body, promoting an inclusive internet culture to create a more friendly growth environment for the new generation of internet users.
Welcome to NiteCat Online, the online youth support team of the Hong Kong Children and Youth Services. We provide professional counseling services and psychological support to teenagers through information and communication technology tools, helping them cope with life's challenges. Our services include counseling service appointments, verification of social worker identity, psychological tests, and more, aiming to create a safer and more supportive growth space for the new generation of internet users. Some young people in online communities face issues such as mental distress, poor interpersonal relationships, sexual confusion, and challenges in growth and adaptation, yet do not seek help from anyone. The online outreach approach of Night Cat Online fills service gaps by discovering new service users on the internet, providing a simple online help avenue for troubled youth. We aim to rebuild the connection between socially excluded adolescents and society, offering youth-centered services based on a strength-based approach, providing both online and offline (O&O) services and support to help develop their potential.
Mental health is critically important to everyone, everywhere. All over the world, mental health needs are high but responses are insufficient and inadequate. The World mental health report: transforming mental health for all is designed to inspire and inform better mental health for everyone everywhere. Drawing on the latest evidence available, showcasing examples of good practice from around the world, and voicing people's lived experience, it highlights why and where change is most needed and how it can best be achieved. It calls on all stakeholders to work together to deepen the value and commitment given to mental health, reshape the environments that influence mental health, and strengthen the systems that care for mental health.
The Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS) is an independent, non-profit organization that provides rigorous, objective, and empirically based accreditation of Ph.D. programs.
