The Korean Developmental Psychology Association (KDPA), founded in September 1975 as the fifth branch of the Korean Psychological Association, celebrates its 48th anniversary in 2023 with over 1,500 active members. KDPA has led psychological research on human development in Korea and established expert training programs to apply developmental psychology knowledge in the field. This growth is attributed to the dedication and passion of its members and leadership.
The International Psychology Olympiad (IPsyO) is an annual competition for high school students. In bringing together gifted students, the IPsyO competition challenges and stimulates these students to expand their talents and potential to become the next generation of leaders in mind and behavior science.
The Korean Health Psychology Association (KHPA) was established to foster collaboration among psychologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals interested in the biological, psychological, and social aspects of health and well-being. KHPA aids students in applying psychological knowledge to various health-related fields, from comprehensively understanding the causes of health and illness to promoting health and preventing disease.
The mission of AACAP is to promote the healthy development of children, adolescents, and families through advocacy, education, and research, and to meet the professional needs of child and adolescent psychiatrists throughout their careers.
