The Mental Health Workplace Charter aims to create awareness and support for mental health in the workplace. It encourages organizations to commit to fostering a positive and supportive work environment that values the mental well-being of employees. By signing the charter, companies demonstrate their dedication to mental health and their willingness to implement policies and practices that promote a healthy workplace culture. The Chinese Hong Kong Government is implementing a mental health promotion and public education initiative known as “Shall We Talk”. This initiative aims to sustain the efforts of the Joyful@HK Campaign and enhance public understanding of mental health, with a view to building a mental health-friendly society in the long run. This Mental Health Workplace Charter (“the Charter”) is part of the initiative and organised jointly by the Department of Health, the Labour Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Council.

The organization donates items like shoes, slippers, and personal care products to hospitals, enhancing the dignity and well-being of patients. With a focus on Black-owned businesses, Depressed While Black also promotes cultural sensitivity and empowerment.
The Re:Fresh Online Mental Health Self-help Platform was established by the Hong Kong Baptist Social Services to provide emotionally distressed people with online emotional support services anytime, anywhere. The platform includes the Internet, social media and instant messaging applications, making it convenient for users to get support when they need it. The platform emphasizes that its services cannot replace professional medical or clinical psychological services, and provides a 24-hour emergency support hotline from other institutions.
