The Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP), established in 1974, is the largest global organization dedicated to personality and social psychologists. Comprising over 7,500 members, SPSP is committed to advancing the scientific, educational, and practical applications of personality and social psychology. At the heart of SPSP's mission is serving its members by providing educational events, networking opportunities, research funding, publication support, and mentorship for the next generation of psychologists. In 2022, SPSP introduced a Strategic Framework to guide its initiatives for the subsequent five years, reflecting a collaborative effort across the Society, including input from a Strategic Planning Taskforce, members, committees, and the Board of Directors. /n Embarking on this plan from 2023, SPSP emphasizes its inclusive and diverse approach to fostering research and development in personality and social psychology to tackle societal challenges.
