Guided by our values of empathy and connection, and anchored in over a decade of rigorous research we are reimagining the delivery of evidence-based mental healthcare. We envision a world where a Friendship Bench is within walking distance for all.

The Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) was established in 1970 as a non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to promoting volunteer participation and providing value-added and quality volunteer services. Funding is sourced from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Community Chest of Hong Kong, the Charities Trust Fund of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, and donations from various sectors.
