香港饮食失调协会（HEDA）于 1999 年 10 月 30 日由刘先生与一群患者、护理者和关心人士共同创立。2000 年，HEDA 注册为有限公司，并在香港注册为免税慈善机构（IR 档案号 91/6030）。自 2016 年 11 月起，我们成为香港社会服务联会（HKCSS）的机构会员。2017 年，我们成为香港社区 Chest 的会员机构。我们的顾问团队由精神科医生、儿科医生、心理学家、社会工作者和营养师等专业人士组成。
