The psychology labs at Liverpool Hope University are located on the Ground Floor of the Health Sciences Building in Hope Park. They are purpose-built rooms designed for researchers to develop and run experiments. Students can use the equipment and resources described on the site to carry out psychological investigations and enhance their psychological methods and analysis skills. The labs are used for small group teaching, staff/postgraduate/undergraduate research activities, and are available for student dissertation projects. The site also provides access to PsychoPy Experiment Bank, Stimulus Banks, Qualtrics, and PsychoPy Builder. The Lab Manager, Dr Glen Pennington, offers support for dissertations, SPSS/jamovi/JASP, PsychoPy, psychometric tests, and more.
Developed by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, Managing Emotions in Times of Uncertainty & Stress will provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to understand and manage their emotions and those of their students. The 10-hour online course is designed for school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, principals, and non-teaching staff in preK-12 schools.
